Year 7 and 8's putting their geometry skills to use.....

During our Friday Maths time we have been working on a geometry based project called Geometricity. Geometricity is a project based learning activity where students will take their geometry skills and plan their own city. Students create a city that involves both 2D and 3D designs, practicing both plane and solid geometry. We are still currently working on these and each group hopes to put their ‘city’ together to make a big super city consisting of all sorts of buildings, funky designs and road networks.  Watch this space for an update when we have finished.
