Holly Clark rode for Māpua School but in the Motueka High School equestrian team at the Tasman Secondary School Champs with awesome results.

Holly’s individual results were 1st in both the pony show jumping 80 cm and also the 90cm - these were pure speed rounds; fastest clear round won. They also came 3rd in the pony show hunter 90 cm and 7th in the dressage (or “stressage” as Holly calls it). 

Holly also was one of 3 riders given a prize by the organisers for being noticed being encouraging of others and a good team mate. 

Holly rode for Māpua School but in the Motueka High School team (they needed an extra rider) and as she was a draft rider the rules are that she wears Motueka High School uniform. They ended up winning the whole competition - pretty unexpected -  with Marlborough Girls College coming second.

Way to go Holly and your trusty steed - we are proud of you!
