Let's Meet Kōwhai Class

Helen Douglas —

E koekoe te tūī. E ketekete te kākā. E kūkū te kererū. The tūī squawks. The kākā chatters. The wood pigeon coos. (We are all UNIQUE! )

This is the whakatauki/proverb that Kōwhai have been learning over the last two weeks. We start our day recognising that we are all unique and bring different strengths to the Kōwhai class. We have been working together to learn about each other and our strengths. What we have discovered is that we are a great team and are looking forward to a super year together.
