The board invites applications from parents of Year 8 (2019) students who wish to enrol their sons and daughters at Mapua for next year.

Enrolment at the school is governed by an enrolment scheme, details of which are available at the school office. Parents wishing to enrol a child should do so by contacting the school on 03 5402806 or at admin@mapua.school.nz as soon as possible to indicate their interest and provide the information needed by the school (the school will outline what information is required during this initial contact). The deadline for receipt of applications for out-of-zone places is Friday November 23. The board has determined that up to 12 Year 8 spaces are likely to be available across the school’s three Year 7&8 composite classes next year. The exact number will depend on known in-zone Year 7&8 numbers for 2019. If the number of out-of-zone applications exceeds the number of places available students will be selected by ballot. If a ballot is required it will be held in the week following the closure of applications. Parents will be informed of the outcome of the ballot within three school days of the ballot being held.
