Our Jissen Gakuen exchange went very well with many new friendships formed and experiences had that will last a lifetime. Thanks to all the boys and girls and of course parents for helping support our exchange. It’s a great opportunity to host a student and it was an outstanding effort from our school community.

As many of you know this term we had a lot of sporting events and achievements over tournament week, MBC games, prefect games and personal performances. So many great results and too many to name, but to those of you who did participate a massive congratulations. We are proud to see you representing yourself and the school at such a high level. A special achievement at the end of the term was the last match in the prefect games where the MBC prefects took on the MGC prefects at a game of touch rugby and despite a biased referee MBC came out victorious!

Our annual cultural prize giving was held this week. Congratulations to all those who received an award.

As the year progresses and we begin to wrap up assessments and head into exams the boys have done very well to keep up with the stress and keep up the hard mahi. However, I know personally that it can be very hard to stay focused and up to date at this point in the year but I urge you to carry on, put in the hard yards and make the most of it because it’s only for a short period of time and then we can bring on summer!
