Head Boy Update Term 4
Kia Ora E te Whanau, this will be my final term report for 2023, there is so much to say about the hard work and determination that has gone into this year to make sure it will be written in the history books forever.
I would like to first personally thank the staff, students and families that have helped in every way possible throughout this year to ensure that we as a school thrive in our environment. Now as an old boy I know that I will sit and reminisce over all the wonderful memories we have made at MBC.
Over the years we have had some of the greatest involvement in all my years at MBC in house activities due to the dedication from the prefect team day and night working to get the job done.
To the prefects next year, work hard and make MBC what you want of it, the boys will follow in your footsteps as the leaders of the school and I know that you will be awesome.
To those returning next year, as you return to MBC for your remaining years, I urge you not to worry about who you think you should be, but who you are. MBC offers so many opportunities but they are only there for the taking when you apply yourself and stay true to who you are. It took me too long to figure this out but when I did the benefits were limitless.
I urge you to get involved, ask questions, make friends and savour every moment as if you may never live it again as this part of our lives is only short and you don't want to miss out.
I am proud of being a part of the brotherhood at MBC and want to wish the boys I have shared these experiences with well for the future.
