Te Waharoa ākonga travelled to Motuara Island

A group of Te Waharoa ākonga travelled to Motuara Island on 3rd April for ruku kaimoana - diving for seafood with Blenheim Dive Centre, Matua Chris McMurtrie, Brian Bailey, Michael Heath, and Riki Palatchie. 

Back to school with their catch, ākonga, with assistance from whānau, Whaea Jan and Delyn, cleaned and prepared the kai for a tino hakari (amazing feast)!
