The Beautiful Game!

The Junior Football Team attended the South Island Tournament in week 6. The Team reached the semi- final only to be knocked out after penalties against Kings. A fantastic achievement in this inaugural competition. The Tournament was a great success both on and off the field. Visits to University Halls for food, and the much-enjoyed Otago Uni Museum made the trip a holistic affair.

Football was the main purpose though and the Boys' increased in confidence and team play throughout the week. We played some lovely attacking football against sides who were far bigger than us and used to playing at a higher speed. We are all talking about next year in Christchurch already. The whole team were ambassadors for the College and represented us with maturity beyond their years.
