Head Boy Term 2 Update

MBC —

Kia ora koutou, We’ve had a good start to the term so far, we’re already in week three and we can see just how fast the time goes.

Last Thursday evening was outstanding! It was good to see many juniors at the junior social. The vibes were amazing and so were our dancers.

On Monday our prefect team took on the girls' prefect team, our lads took the win swiftly with a score of 8-3 in Touch, the support was astounding. We’re hoping to maintain our winning streak for the rest of the year.

Sadly, our cross country has been moved to Term three so make sure we’re running to make the cross country feel like a breeze.

We’re nearly halfway into Term two and Term one flew by fast with no hesitation, so we need to stay consistent with the hard work. I’ve said this many times, but time management is key! Setting out a routine for yourself everyday will help keep you in line. Prioritize your important assessments and leave your least important things for later.

Haka comp is coming up next week, so we’re looking to see which house will come out on top. Each house performs the school haka and gets judged by our own Māori teacher Whaea Helen. This is good for our younger lads to familiarise themselves with our school haka.

Lastly lads, study but stay healthy as well. Don’t overwork yourself. Make sure you have hobbies to get out of the house sometimes! Look after yourself lads and let’s work hard this term!
