Summer School

MBC —

As we come to the end of Term 3,one of our key Te Kura programmes can help education providers to support their NCEA ākonga (students) in Term 4.

Students have continued to face a range of challenges this year and may be feeling some concern and uncertainty about their NCEA results.

Te Kura’s Summer School is a good backup option for students who need some extra help to top up their credits for NCEA and University Entrance over the summer holidays to get them across the line.

Registrations for Te Kura’s popular Summer School will be opening in November.

More than 1500 ākonga take advantage of Summer School each year to complete their studies, enabling them to go on to further study, training or employment. Summer School courses are delivered online from December to February, so with access to a computer and the internet, ākonga can learn anywhere and anytime.

Te Kura offer a range of internal standards at NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3.  Qualified kaiako (teachers) are already gearing up for Summer School and will be available online to support ākonga.

Our Student and Whānau Support team is also available to answer any Summer School queries. Please phone 0800 65 99 88 option 1, or email summerschool@tekura.school.nz

He waka eke noa – we are all in this together.
