Congratulations to our songbirds who took out the Tui award at the South Island Cadenza.

Following on from the Big Sing regionals in June, Ovation was selected as one of twelve choirs to compete at the South Island Cadenza, a competitive, Finale-style event hosted by the New Zealand Choral Federation. Their song selections this year included a diverse range of music including waiata, jazz, a traditional spiritual piece as well as acapella music. After an exciting couple of days competing and engaging in workshops with adjudicator Andrew Withington, Ovation took out the top award, Tui (gold), with only three presented. 

Congratulations also to Marlborough Boys' College who brought home the Silver trophy.
