Jewellery & Business

Emily Pitcon, Year 10 —

Today Michelle Rosthorn came into school to talk to our jewellery class about her business that she has in jewellery design and making.

She runs a small business and sells handmade jewelry, such as rings and necklaces. The pieces are made of silver or gold and tend to have crystals on them.

She also remakes old jewellery, so if you have a piece that has value to you or your family but it doesn't fit you or isn't' in your style she can remake it for you.

She showed us her book of sketches and old magazines she gets inspiration from. This shows us how we can use the skills we've learnt in the real world.

All of her pieces are very beautiful and are all different.
