Our Lean, Mean & Green Team have been busy exploring science and environment.

During Term 1 Lean, Mean and Green students investigated renewable energy, electricity and simple electronics through practical exploration. 

They designed and made model turbines generating electricity to light their model houses. 

They investigated the use of Solar thermal energy using Solar ovens to make yummy Smores, as well as learning soldering techniques to make and race solar powered electric cars. 

Course participants made use of the 3D printers and other great technology facilities in our Maker Lab.
