Congratulations to Stella Henry to competed at the 50m Outdoor National Smallbore Championships in Trentham last week.

Stella competed exceptionally well at first national championship (a significant accomplishment on its own) – winning D grade at both the Mana championships and the national graded championships. 

She was also selected for both the South Island Open Team and, importantly, the National Women’s Randle team – which competed against the USA, Great Britain and South Africa at distances of both 50 yards and 100 yards. 

Despite this being her first time Stella had ever shot at 100 yards, she scored a top possible score of 100/100 on one of her targets. 

The USA, GB and SA teams will shoot their targets at a different time, so the team’s results won't be known until later in the year. We look forward to hearing how they go. Congratulations Stella!
