On Tuesday 19th September 2023, 33 of our 'Our Forest Treasures' students travelled to Yealands Winery in Seddon.

Our students were supported by Yealands' staff to plant an amazing 850 natives!! It was a perfect day enjoyed by all.  

Emily said it was fun to get out there and do something new away from technology for the day. Tyler really enjoyed getting out of the classroom and doing some hands-on learning. Helen Templeton really enjoyed the lunch provided by Yealands, as well as getting stuck into the mahi of planting and seeing the positive impact riparian planting can have.
