Getting into the outdoors.

We travelled out to Whites Bay on Monday 20 February. It was a gorgeous 30 degree day. 

We had planned our menus and packed our food and water before leaving. While driving in Miss Van's van, we slathered on our sunscreen. 

When we got to White's Bay, we made a short pit stop for food before starting the ascent around the Black Jack track. The cicadas were flying at our faces and blowing our eardrums as we made our way to the top. 

After getting some excellent group shots, we walked back to Whites Bay. We carried on to Rarangi after lunch. We had a great day, embracing the outdoors and are looking forward to our Adventure Marlborough camp later this term.
