Year 10 Celebration

Year 10 Celebration Assembly

This week we celebrated the achievements of our Year 10s.

What an extraordinary year it has been for our Year 10s! I am continually inspired by the talent, dedication, and boundless potential of each and every one of our rangatahi. On Tuesday, 10th December, we gathered for our end of year Celebration Assembly, a moment to honour the remarkable efforts and achievements of our students throughout the year.

It is truly commendable that so many of our students achieved 90% or higher attendance—a testament to their unwavering commitment to learning and their determination to seize every opportunity. Alongside academic success, we celebrated those who embody our school values through all-round endeavor and character.

This occasion also allowed us to express heartfelt gratitude to our exceptional whānau teachers, who have gone above and beyond to nurture and support their ākonga. Their tireless efforts to create a sense of belonging and foster a culture of care within your classes do not go unnoticed.

As the year draws to a close, we bid a fond farewell to two extraordinary members of our Year 10 whānau teachers team, Mr. Lee Macri and Mr. Ian Thomas. Your contributions to our school community, your unwavering support for our students, and the inclusive cultures you have cultivated will leave a lasting legacy. We wish you every success and fulfillment as you embark on the next chapters of your careers.

To our wider school community, I extend my warmest wishes for the holiday season. May your break be filled with joy, relaxation, and cherished moments with loved ones. Take this time to rest and rejuvenate—we eagerly anticipate welcoming you back in 2025, ready for another inspiring year of growth and learning.
