The Tasman Senior Supernet netball tournament was held in Nelson on Wednesday 9 August.

The games were played indoors at Saxton Stadium.

Marlborough Girls sent two teams to this event - the Liquid Action Senior A team and the Mike Poff Bayleys Senior B team.

The B team began the day with a victory over Nelson College for Girls B 32-29 and in their second match suffered a narrow loss 27-31 against Waimea B.

The A team had been reduced to 7 players due to recent injuries and were bolstered by replacement players Neve McKenzie from the 10A team and Elizabeth Bowron form the Senior B team.

The first match saw them draw 28-28 with Nayland A and in the second game found NCOG A too strong, losing 24-37. However, these matches will stand them in good stead going forward to SISS.
