Finance and Property

The school's finances continue on a very strong footing in a very tough environment for everyone.  Cash reserves are excellent, and the finance management team of Rosina Jones, Kim Weaver and Monica Fyfe do a fantastic job.

Independent accounting oversight is provided by Brian Tong at Solutions and Services in Christchurch.  Brian's monthly report is reviewed by the management team, including Mary-Jeanne Lynch and myself, and we then present the report to the boards Finance and Property meetings each month.

All parents can be assured that the school is very well managed financially and that then takes pressure off, so staff can concentrate on the essential task of providing a top-class education to our children.

The Property portfolio is still 'steady as it goes' as we progress towards the new school build site.  The school property is being maintained to a high standard, as ever, but capital expense on new builds is on hold until we have certainty over the future.
