Raising over $14,200 overall, the Marlborough Girls’ College and Marlborough Boys’ College students and staff came together to acknowledge such a worthy cause. We wouldn’t have been able to pull off such an amazing day without many people which we would love to thank again.

Firstly we would like to thank all of the amazing whānau and friends who donated money to each and every participant. Without your support, we would not have been able to raise as much as we did!

We would also like to thank the eight amazing hairdressers who came in to cut the hair. Please support their business.

Without them, the event wouldn’t have been as successful as it was, so a very big thank you!

We also had an incredible sausage sizzle lunch where we raised an additional $250 which has been donated to the Cancer Society alongside the mufti day proceeds and one of our senior classes bake sale profits. We would love to thank Renwick Meat Market and Bakery for sponsoring a portion of our sausages as well as a local school family for donating the loaves of bread. Mitre 10 MEGA Marlborough generously donated their BBQ which the wonderful Marlborough Girls’ College Student Council ran. Thank you to you all!

This was one of our biggest events of the year and we would like to thank all of our community for coming together to make this possible and one to remember.
