Over Labour Weekend Jazmine competed in the TUNZ Top of the South Taekwondo Championship 2024. Her amazing results were:

• Whanau Poomsae - Silver

• Pairs Poomsae - Silver

• Singles Poomsae - Silver

• Kyorugi x 3 - 1x Gold, 2 x Silver

Nicola and Jessica Lovell

The Southern Zone (South Island) Secondary School Open Water Swim champs were held in conjunction with the Banana Boat Big Tahuna swim on Saturday 2nd November in Nelson.

Congratulations to MGC students Nicola and Jessica Lovell who obtained the amazing results below:

Nicola Lovell - 1st overall, 1st 14 -15 yr females

Jessica Lovell - 2nd 16 -19 girls and 4th overall

Additionally Nicola was 3rd female overall for the entire event and Jessica was 7th!

A fantastic effort and achievement Nicola and Jessica - we are super proud of you both!
