Talented students competed across two days in the annual MGC Music Competitions.

Students ranging from Year 9 to 13 competed in a variety of musical categories last week. Sadly due to assessments and winter illness, the numbers did drop compared with the original number of entries, however those that presented were to a very high standard.

Students will receive their prizes at the Cultural Prize giving at the end of Term 3, some of which will include new trophies to reflect the new categories (Jazz Vocal, Strings, Bass) and financial support in the form of sponsorship.
