Sofia Kate Manio is delighted to be the recipient of a $15,000 per annum university scholarship for 2025 and 2026. A huge thank you to Richard Coon and trustees of the Laurie Coon Foundation!

This life-changing scholarship for Sofia will allow her to support her studies at Lincoln University until she qualifies for a student loan. Sofia is a student with an outstanding work ethic and has managed the unique achievement of attaining Level 1, 2 and 3 NCEA - endorsed with Excellence - in one school year! 

Richard Coon is the Patron of Angel Investors Marlborough and introduced Sofia to the members at the last meeting.
