GirlBoss NZ have launched a life-changing 10 Day Online Career Accelerator called GirlBoss Edge: Primary Industries, which is happening in the October school holidays.

Fully funded for 200 young women across New Zealand and sponsored by the Ministry for Primary Industries this is a great opportunity for those wanting a career in Primary Industries.

Applicants should be aged 15 - 18 and be interested in one or more of the following:

  • The Primary Industries
  • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths)
  • Sustainability
  • Innovation
  • Animal Welfare
  • Policy
  • Protecting New Zealand’s natural resources
  • International Trade
  • Feeding Aotearoa and the world
  • Biosecurity, Farming, Fishing, Forestry, and more!

Participants will gain mentoring, inspiration and support from high profile inspirational speakers such as BLAKE Environmental Ambassador, Courtney Davies; CEO of Real Country, Laura Koot,; and GirlBoss CEO, Alexia Hilbertidou.

They will also receive 1:1 mentoring with leaders, policy makers, field workers, and sustainability specialists from across the Primary Industries.
Students can also complete a CV worthy challenge which could earn them work experience and prizes and every graduate receives a GirlBoss Goodie bag (valued at $40).
93% of graduates describe the programme as "life changing!"

The time commitment is approximately one hour a day across the 10 day programme, is self paced, and can be completed from anywhere. (September 29th - October 8th).
