Learning Conversation Hui

Nicola Dow, Deputy Principal —

We encourage all whānau to attend our upcoming Learning conversations this coming Wednesday 22nd and Tuesday 28th February from 2 pm to 7 pm.

This learning hui is for students and their whānau, to meet with their whānau teachers.

Students will be using our newly developed Learning Capabilities Framework to set some learning and wellbeing goals. They will then share these with their Whānau at the learning conversations. You can find out more about this at Learning Capabilities Framework.

If you are unable to attend, we encourage students to come along and attend on their own so that they can still have this conversation with their whānau teachers.

We believe learning and wellbeing are interlinked. Our aim is that students will set goals around their learning, and by working towards these goals they will ultimately improve their wellbeing.

For example, the capability of Managing Self includes being aware of your actions on others. By doing this, students ultimately enhance their own sense of wellbeing through reflection.
