On 4 March Blenheim held their annual Multicultural Festival, and it was a kaleidoscope of colours and culture.

Students from our Te Ao Haka and Te Riu o Te Wairau whānau class group combined on the day to perform. The group also performed the waiata tautoko for Matua Luke Katu who opened the festival with karakia.

Year 12 student Shreeya Gupte danced classical Indian dance and teacher Shrungali Gupte presented an incredible Indian fashion show. MGC students wore the traditional Indian dresses.

Approximately ten MGC students volunteered to help out during the day earning $200 in donations to go towards supporting arts and cultural activities around the school.
