Year 13 History

Year 13 History students working as detectives with clues to solve a murder. Skills are required later to gather evidence, make judgements and draw accurate conclusions.

Learning Centre News

Our incredible Honor and Teacher Aid Wendy are having a blast at the first music therapy lesson of the year.

Below is a picture of Emily, who was eager to read to the class. Emily is an enthusiastic reader; the other students were really engaged with her topical non-fiction reading about the Chinese New Year. Well done Emily for such a great example of Kotahitanga - working together as one!

1MAKA whānau class

1MAKA whānau class have been working on what’s important to us. We created a board filled with pictures for display. A wonderful way to brighten up our whānau space, and to see their baby pictures too!

My Taonga class

My Taonga have been investigating the Chinese New Year. The lion dance is what we commonly see but the head does not look like a lion, that is because it is a mixture of animals and represent values such as strength, prosperity and good fortune. Together we discussed aspirations and goals for the year, created our dragons with one of goals on the inside.
