Alexi Johnston, Zoe Da Costa and  Angelique van der Watt successfully completed the Career Navigator Course run by the Graeme Dingle Foundation. Students receive support from mentors to write CVs, and learn interview techniques, and the year's mahi culminates in a Graduation ceremony and presentations from students.

Ten students interested in the Wine Industry attended the ‘Big Wine Day Out’ trip. This looked at careers, apprenticeships and opportunities with a variety of organisations around Marlborough NMIT, Viticulture visits to local wineries and wine engineering sites.

In preparation for leaving school, going to university to study health sciences, or joining the workforce - a group of 26 Year 13 students undertook a Comprehensive First Aid course run by Red Cross NZ. The skills and  knowledge gained are invaluable assets to take forward  into the students' next adventures in life.

The Warehouse Red Shirts in Schools is a Gateway programme that gives students the opportunity to get valuable work experience in retail. This year, twelve students completed this programme and gained credits that can be used towards a nationally recognised NZ Certificate in Retail. They were learning great industry skills and getting real experience in a real workplace. Well done team!
