Our team of fierce juniors made their way down to Christchurch to compete at the SISS Tournament over the Summer Sports Week.

While the brave young team only came away with 1 win - against STAC - They were great examples to their peers at the weekend - both in and out of the pool. As predicted, given the age of our girls, it was a tough weekend against teams who were bigger and stronger than them. They will have learned a huge amount and have played against players who are already representing NZ and will doubtless go to future Olympic Games. It will stand them in good stead when it comes to the SIJSS in November (8 of them will play in that) and National Age Group comps.
