Free Triple P parenting support

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Program Triple P is an internationally-recognised program that gives parents the skills they need to raise confident, healthy children and teenagers and to build stronger family relationships. It also helps parents manage misbehaviour and prevent problems occurring in the first place.

Triple P Fearless Course

The free Fear-Less Triple P programme is funded by the Ministry of Health with support from Whāraurau, and offers a free online course for parents. The course is aimed at overcoming anxiety in young people aged 6-14.

The course is designed to help you:

  • get a better understanding of anxiety and fear
  • have access to a range of useful tools and strategies
  • better understand how to help your child when they are anxious or upset

All tools and strategies are adaptable to suit your family and values, and you can do it via phone, computer or tablet.

Triple P Teen Course

The general Triple P course on positive parenting for teens is also free online at present. It can help you to positively influence your teenager's development and life skills, providing a full toolkit of proven tips and ideas. You choose what works for you and adapt it to suit your family and your values. The course helps you understand how to address behaviours, promote new skills and help emotional self-regulation.
