On the 14th March, a group of the Manutaki Collective headed over the hill to Whakatū, Nelson for the annual Te Tauihu Student Leadership Forum, kindly hosted by Nayland College.

The day was filled with an exciting array of key-note speakers, and inspiring conversations with students from all corners of the Te Tauihu. 

One of the many highlights of the day was getting the opportunity to collaborate with students that have similar leadership roles within their schools. We had the chance to brainstorm ideas to bring back to the rest of our Manutaki Collective and look to implement some of these within our Kura.  

We are so grateful to have been offered this opportunity to learn valuable skills that we can now put to use in leading at Marlborough Girls’ College.
