We love to hear about former Marlborough Girls' College students - and are delighted to share an update on Yazmin Shipley which appeared in the UC news this week.

Yazmin graduated from Marlborough Girls' College in December 2018, and went on to the University of Canterbury where she completed her Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering.

Over the last four years Yazmin has had the opportunity to explore the engineering field and expressed a specific interest in "aerodynamics and fluid flow, and aviation and aerospace technology". She completed an internship at Woodbourne which ultimed resulted in her securing a place in the Engineering Graduate Programme at Air New Zealand in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland.
