Mrs Le Compte's Dare to Lead class have been embarking on a wide range of projects linking into the 'World Sustainable Development Goals'.

Students have been out and about within the community making a change - from donating time at charities, organising raffles, running bake sales, collecting food for the Salvation Army, Johns Kitchen and the Marlborough Food bank, collecting items for Women's Refuge or doing huge rubbish clean ups! Some students have also been undertaking social media campaigns to raise awareness of issues facing us today. 

It has been a wonderful unit to teach and to see students giving back to the community and gaining so much awareness, confidence and independence.
