Marlborough District Council commissioned a local artist, Mieke Davis, to paint a new Community Mural in the alleyway between Pollard Park and Nelson Street. Different community groups have been helping Mieke to achieve the goal. MGC Years 9 and 10's have been also contributing with their artistic talents. 'It's so much fun', says a Year 9 student.  'We are doing what we love and we are also outside enjoying the Spring sun, music and talking to local people who go by and comment on the mural. I love it!'
