In the Leo's Club, our aim is to give back to the community through volunteering and donating.

Recently the Leo's Club donated $200 of profits from our Matariki-themed cookie fundraising here at Marlborough Girls' College to the Wairau Pediatrics Ward. The Pediatrics Ward used this $200 to paint and add murals to the children's ward and make it more welcoming and friendly for the patients.

The Leos group also enjoy donating our time through volunteering specifically at John's Kitchen where we help with waitressing and cleaning. This again allows us to give back to our community and help the organisers of the Soup Kitchen to continue their great work. 

Our plans for the rest of the year:

• We are in the process of making plans for a tidy-up around Blenheim and a clean-up at Kaipupu Point. 
• Annually the Leo's Club along with the Lions Club donate Christmas presents and wrap them for children that may not normally receive gifts or for children in need.
• A babysitting night.
