Maadi Cup Update

Holly Feltham, Manutaki Hākinakina —

Our senior rowing squad of 20 students are currently competing in the AON Maadi Cup at Lake Ruataniwha near Twizel, and have been punching well above their weight!

We have 9 crews competing in 7 A finals, including the U16 double, U16 four, U17 pair, U17 four, U18 pair, U18 four and the U18 eight, as well as a B final in the U17 quad!

After what's been a Covid ridden season, the girls and coaches are stoked to be competing against the top crews from around the country.

A massive thank you to all the parents, supporters, organisers, and school for supporting us along the way and helping us get here.

If you wish to follow along, live results are shown on rowit or live streaming of the event is on the South Island Rowing YouTube channel
