Keeping up to date with the Board of Trustees.

At our last Board Meeting on Thursday, 11th August 2022, the Trustees were delighted to hear back from the Board Scholarship recipients. This year there were eight staff members chosen (two years of scholarship recipients due to Covid related issues) who did a leadership course at Outward Bound. They were full of praise for the course and the benefit that they gained from taking part and unanimously felt that it was the best Professional Learning they had ever done! It was also wonderful that the recipients were from all areas of our staff and not just teachers.

We also had the privilege of listening to Mark Lower present a report on the English Department and are delighted to hear of the efforts made by our wonderful staff in that department to ensure that student agency and engagement is constantly at the heart of what they do.

Lastly, don’t forget that Parent Trustee elections are being held at the moment. Every vote counts. Have your say.
