Marlborough’s 2022 Youth Council are rolling up their shelves and hosting free events to celebrate New Zealand’s Youth Week.

This year the Marlborough Youth Council are a free event as part of Youth Week - it is their first time doing this and it sounds amazing! The event is completely free and open to anybody aged 12 to 18 years old.

Friday 13 May - Renwick Sports and Event Centre

4.00 – 6.00 pm

Open to 12 to 18 year olds. Activities will include a skate competition (some boards will be available to borrow), obstacle course and other games. 

The Marlborough Youth Council have many other projects on the go including 

• Annual Plan submission
• Art Exhibition
• Planning for a youth mural
• Attending the UN Youth Declaration conference and 
• An election event planned!
