‘Kia ora – E te iwi’ hui

29th September - Omaka Marae

This is a kaupapa Māori programme for whānau at any stage of their cancer journey. This hui aims to grow understanding of local health services and providers, increase knowledge of living well with cancer and raise questions and experiences in a safe, supportive environment to develop local support for whānau with cancer.  More information is available below. 

The Little Mermaid Auditions

29th September - Students receive their own show kit including tote bag, t-shirt, keepsake script, and more!  Learn from professional tutors who are passionate about theatre. Have the opportunity to perform on stage. Tour the ASB Theatre and learn more about the behind the scenes aspects of putting on a show. Enjoy your best Summer by being part of an amazing theatre family, creating lasting friendships and memories. This year Marlborough Academy of Music also have there Internship Program. This program is aimed at students who are year 12 or 13 in 2023. The Interns will go through a training program to learn what it takes to produce a musical. They will be mentored by Marlborough Academy of Music staff, undergo training in working with children, be an active part in the behind the scenes production of the show, and gain key skills which employers are looking for. Marlborough Academy of Music is excited to bring this free training opportunity to Marlborough.
