Mā te wā

Marlborough Girls' College —

In a beautiful and heartwarming evening at the Lansdowne Pavilion, our Year 13 students came together for the Mā te wā farewell celebration.

Dressed in cocktail attire, they marked the conclusion of their school journey with a memorable event attended by both whānau and teachers.

Throughout the evening, Funaki Lousiale, our student photographer, captured the spirit of the event beautifully, preserving the memories for years to come. The room was filled with joy, laughter and whanaungatanga.

The evening was made even more special as Ms Lynch took the stage to express her gratitude and admiration for the Manutaki team. She honoured their contributions and presented them with pounamu taonga, symbolising their collective efforts and commitment to our school community.

As we bid farewell to this incredible Year 13 cohort, it's important to remember that their time at school was not just about academics but also about building lasting memories, forging lifelong friendships, and finding their own paths.

Mā te wā - until we meet again. The bonds formed and the memories created during the last five years will forever remain in all our hearts. We wish you all the very best as you embark on new adventures and face the exciting challenges that lie ahead.
