Tickets are now on sale for the 2023 Big Sing Gala Concert on 6 June.

This year MGC have two choirs entering the competition. 

• Ovation - conducted by Christianna Morgan; and 
• Crescentia - conducted by Carol Stanley 

There will be a total of 166 students entering from local and regional schools across Nelson and Marlborough.

To help prepare for this big event, Terence Maskell visited MGC on Friday 19 May to run a technical vocal workshop for our students. Terence, BA DipMus DipTchg, was the conductor of The Graduate Choir, NZ since its inception and has taught music for well over 20 years, establishing a firm national and international reputation for fine choral groups. We were very fortunate to have Terence's support in growing our rangatahi in this area.
