NZSS Track and Field and Road Race 2024

MGC was represented by three athletes at the recent athletics meet in Timaru – Ryleigh Gale, Fenella Cooney and Mya Blackmore.

All three girls competed in two events each and gave it their best shot!

Results were:

• Ryleigh – Junior Girls 80m Hurdles – 13.14q Heat, 13.57 Final 7th | Junior Girls 300m Hurdles – 52.49 Heat q, 50.66 Semi q, 50.85 Final 8th

• Fenella – Senior Girls 3000m - 11.32.51 25th | Senior Girls 4000m Road Race – 15.55.35 18th

• Mya - Senior Girls 3000m - 12.51.47 27th

• Senior Girls 4000m Road Race – 17.24.33 26th
