Stephen Galt, Year 9 Dean inspired by MGC Community Challenges

Massive congratulations to our Year 9 whānau classes who got involved in the Community Challenge last week. It was inspiring to see our rangatahi give back to their community in such a variety of ways. Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini. This whaktāuki which roughly translates as ‘My strength is not as an individual but as a collective’ perfectly encapsulates the spirit of the Community Challenge. Together, as our amazing Year 9’s demonstrated, we can make a huge difference to our local community. Some classes will be doing their Community Challenges in the upcoming weeks and we look forward to seeing the impact they will have.
