Celebrating many cultures, one home.

Marlborough is a home for over 75 cultures and over 80 languages. 

The Multicultural Festival, organised by Marlborough Multicultural Centre, celebrates this diversity and richness of our region. 

Every year Churchill Glade transforms into a colourful field of traditional costumes, painted faces and tempting aromas. This year over 5000 visited the festival and watched over 300 performers from all over the world. 

MGC’s Siva Mai Sau la Pasifika dance group took part and presented one of their specially choreographed dances. 

Seven MGC students volunteered for the whole day to help coordinate the performers so the show could run smoothly.
