Community Challenge 2024: Building Connections Through Giving
This year's Community Challenge aims to foster Connection and Community learning capabilities by encouraging students to plan and deliver impactful community projects as Whānau groups.
The purpose of the Community Challenge 2024 is to engage students in planning and delivering a project that benefits the school or broader community, focusing on the environment, animals, or people. The challenge emphasises the importance of giving back, highlighting that acts of giving increase happiness and reduce depression by rewarding our brains with 'happy chemicals'. This initiative not only benefits recipients but also enriches the givers, creating a cycle of positivity and wellbeing.
Mark your calendars for Wednesday 11th September 2024, and prepare for the heartwarming ideas and efforts our students will contribute to our community. Let's look forward to the creative and meaningful ways they will make a difference!
