After a great season of being unbeaten in the Western Junior Girls' Secondary Schools Softball Competition,  Massey High Schools team found themselves on the top of the table to play Waitakere College in the final. 

The game was a very close game with both teams tied at 5 all after the second innings. 

Massey were first to bat in the final innings and had a 4 run lead going into field, which turned out was more than enough runs. 

After two quick strike outs and the 3rd batter falling to a catch, Massey took the win 9 to 6 and were crowned champions.

Well done team.  A fantastic result for a hard fought season.
