Year 9 parents, caregivers and whanau were invited to attend an afternoon tea on Thursday 20th February. 

The Year 9 Whānau Tutor Hui involved a presentation by the Principal, Glen Denham and families had the opportunity to meet their child’s tutor for 2020. The tutor is the most vital person in the development and well-being of your child. Their role is to support your child’s growth through giving Manaaki (care) and developing a strong sense of whanaungatanga (family relationships). Whanau also had the opportunity to meet their child’s core subject teachers and Deans.

The afternoon tea was a real success and it was a full house in the Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre. We look forward to working collaboratively with whānau over the next 5 years.
