In the early part of the year our L2 carpentry academy built a foundation of knowledge, tools and materials. They were able to put their theoretical knowledge to use by starting a series of practical projects. We have built furniture out of pallets and 3D animals, completed two timber decks and learning how to use Sketch up.(3D modelling program)

At the end of April we began building our new 2 bedroom house and have almost completed the floor the students are working well together and looking forward to seeing what they accomplish this year.
