MMR IMMUNISATION PROGRAMME
Information received from WDHB for the Measles, Mumps and Rubella Catch up programme
On 12 and 13 March 2018, an MMR catch up programme is being offered at school to boys and girls in years 9, 12 and 13. This vaccine provides protection against Measles, Mumps and Rubella.
The school has provided some information to WDHB such as your child’s name, room number, and date of birth, address and ethnicity to help with the administration of the immunisation programme. Should you wish for this not to happen then please notify the school.
Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend the education sessions being held at the school prior to the vaccinations. These will be held on Wednesday 21 February and Thursday 22 February in the Bruce Ritchie Performing Arts Centre (time to be confirmed)
Information on the vaccine and consent forms will be sent home with your child, following the education session. Please complete the form and return to the school. If you would like more information on this important Immunisation Programme please go to
