We have had an excellent week. Thank you to all our families, staff, students and wider school community for their tautoko over this time. We have been working closely with NZQA and the Ministry of Education in Wellington to look at how we can best support students through an extra 4 Learning Recognition credits because of the last lockdown. We are hoping to find out if this is possible, towards the end of next week.

Great news that the University of Auckland is looking at redefining the entry requirements to courses at the University. They are taking into account the 40 days that have so far been lost to COVID 19. This has been welcome news. We are anticipating that approximately two-thirds of our Year 13 will secure University Entrance.

I reiterate to you all again, that schools are safe places to be at. Our attendance rate is 87% for this week. I encourage all students that have not returned to school to be here on Monday. It is essential that you make every school day count. We need you to be here and engaged with us.
